MESSAGE - JANUARY 9, 2026
Many of our class members are going to a concert at the college in Avon
Park this Sunday. Therefore, we are moving the time of class to 5 pm
to 7 pm for January 11 (only).

We took a vote and the class it now CLOSED to new dancers. We are
looking to progress in the learning. If you have any experience at
all, even just one class, you are still welcome to attend, but it is
important to attend regularly, otherwise you will eventually fall behind
in learning the calls. If your partner can't make it, it will help
greatly if you attend anyway.

Even though were are closed to new dancers, keep promoting to your
friends and get me their names, phone and email, so I can build a list
for a brand new class. As soon as we have 8 more dancers we will get
started again for that group at another time and/or day. If you are on
this mailing list, but haven't actually started and still interested,
send me an email indicating so, so I can add you to the new count for
another restart.

I am hoping to see students from last years class continue. Please
attend when you arrive from the North Country. We are missing you. The
class is now at 2 squares which makes for more fun dancing and
socialization.

On another note, please mark your calendar for a special square dance
event in Avon Park on Thursday, January 29th at 6 pm. I will give
more details this Sunday, just remind me to talk about it.

We dance at the First Christian Church, 510 Poinsettia Ave, Sebring, FL
on Sundays from 4 pm to 6 pm. Cost is $7 per person.
If you are new and this will be your first time coming or you want some extra review,
please come at 3:30 pm and I will go over some preliminary movements and/or
review before the main group of dancers arrives.
As always bring your friends so they can try it too.
