Mike Akers has been calling since 1980.  He began calling for the Joy Seas in 1993.  Mike is  a charter member of Seabreeze Singles Square Dance Club in Jacksonville, FL.    He is married and has three children.  He is also a proud grandfather.  He enjoys working with new dancers. We enjoy having Mike as our caller.
